Welcome

 

The Taghkanic Chorale, under the baton of maestro Jason Tramm, is a group of avocational singers who love to make music together. We welcome singers of all ages, vocal ranges, and skill levels.

 

The Chorale performs two live concert programs each year, in Spring and Fall. Recordings of our Spring 2025 concerts "Modern Masters" are included in Recent Concerts above. ​

The Fall concert "Rejoice and Sing! Choral Masterworks for the Season" features Handel's Dixit Dominos and the sixth cantata from Bach's Christmas Oratorio accompanied by a full contingent of professional musicians performing on period instruments. Concerts are on December 13-14, 2025. Rehearsals begin September 2 in Yorktown Heights. Check for details under the Fall 2025 Concert tab.
